She is also a team player, detail-oriented, analytical driven and has worked on a wide variety of projects that have allowed her to practice what she teaches. She is adept at using the following statistical tools and software packages; descriptive statistics, ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), clustering analysis, support vector machines (SVM), random forest, time series analysis, bagging, model evaluation, exploratory data analysis, and regression analysis (linear and logistic), E-views, R-package, Python, SPSS, Latex, Matlab, Minitab, S-PLUS, Tora, Stata and so on. She has successfully supervised many postgraduate (PhD and MSc) students and also many undergraduate students.
RESEARCH INTEREST
Primarily, she is interested in the areas of Data Science, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Experimental design, Official Statistics, Non-parametric but not limited to computational social science, and physical sciences. She is also passionate about researching and teaching Statistics with the use of E-views, R-package, Python, SPSS, Latex, Mat-lab, Minitab, S-PLUS, Tora, Stata and Ms-packages (Power point, Equation editor, Access, Excel etc). In addition, she is an expert in several statistical tools including simulation and resampling (e.g. the bootstrap methods), Data mining, experimental design, and other statistical computer modeling methods.
