  • Responsible to the Registrar on general administration of the office, control, supervision and co-ordination of all activities, human and material resources to achieve the set goals of the Admissions Unit.
  • General arrangement and supervision of all matters concerning Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Admissions and Matriculation. 
  • Secretary, Central Admissions Committee.
  •  Secretary, Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Exercise Committee.

Principal Assistant Registrar (Exams & Records)

  • General Assistant to the Head of Unit on all matters concerning administration of the office.
  • Verification of results.

  • Transcripts Matters/Signing of Vetted Copies

  • Receiving official guests of the University and arranging for their accommodation.

  • Arranging for the Vice Chancellor’s official trips and assisting in some of the official duties.
  • Handling and retiring funds for vice Chancellor’s official tours.
  • Ensuring that documents for Council Meeting get to the members before the meeting dates.
  • Helping in securing passports for University staff on outside official engagements.
  • Recording and producing minutes of meetings of the Vice Chancellor with University visitors.

 

Administrative Assistant (Guidance and Counseling)

  • Organizing and effecting orientation programme for fresh students.
  • Counseling students on educational, vocational and socio-personal problems.
  • Administering Psychological Test Inventories to students.
  • Rendering referral services to students in connection with their Educational, Vocational and Personal-Social Problems.
